Houston, we have a problem
Anais took a deep breath as she headed towards Harry's office.

"Is it true," Mac asked. "I mean about Tonks."

"Oui. She's missing. Auror Potter in his office?"

"Aye." Mac got up and knocked lightly on Harry's door before sticking her head in. "Auror Rousseau is here to see ya."

"Go ahead and send her in," Harry said, his head bent over spending reports.

Mac gestured to the door. Anais slipped in quietly. She stood before Potter's desk with her hands clasped behind her back, waiting for him to acknowledge her.

"We don't have to do this dance, Anais. You can just tell me what you want." He looked up at the Frenchwoman with a small smile on his face. He slowly slid from his lips when he saw the look in her eyes. "What's wrong?"

"Someone's taken Nymphadora Tonks. She's been kidnapped. Rascaile seems to know by whom. Her wand was found. I... Hestia told me to come tell you. She knew you'd want to know. She's going to the scene. You know Hest."

Anais herself couldn't seem to shake the pit in her stomach right now.

Harry looked up at Anais, his dark green eyes swirling as he processed the information. "Someone took Tonks," he said, each word formed carefully. "Someone took Tonks."

Anais nodded. "A man named Corbin Verdelet. Vane already has Abercrombie in the archives finding out everything we have on the man. Rascaile was upset. He tried to strangle Baddock. I think Hestia and Moody are wanting on the case. I know Hestia. She's scared. She's already yelling at people. I feel sorry for your godfather."

Nodding, Harry looked down at the top of his desk. A multitude of thoughts were running through his head. "Tonks is one of ours. I want everyone available on this. The Death Eaters don't take priority. This takes priority. The trainees can take care of the paperwork. I want everyone on this."

"Auror Shacklebolt already said as much. Do you need me to tell MacDougal to get you anything?"

"No," he answered. "Thank you for telling me." He looked up at her, deliberately concealing the bubbling anger and worry that was stirring in him.

Anais nodded and ducked out of the office quickly.

When she door closed behind her, there was a few moments of silence. It didn't take long for things to start being thrown around. The desk was heavy, but it followed, being turned over onto it's top, the papers on it flying in the air.

Mac was in his office an instant later. Her eyes went wide. She quickly shut the door behind her and cast a silencing charm.

"Am I expected to clean this up?"

Harry was breathing heavy, a hard look on his face, his jaw ticking as he panted through his nose. He shook his head shortly, looking at the mess he'd made of his office.

"Want to go lock ourselves in the training room so you can work this off? I'll take care of the mess later."

Mac had never seen Harry upset like this. It worried her a bit.

He shook his head again, the movement short and jerky. He wanted to take his aggression out on inanimate things, things that couldn't get hurt. He would hurt. He would hurt.

"If you need anything, Harry, I'll be at my desk," Mac said before she slipped out quietly.

Staring at the door for a long time, Harry finally pulled his gaze to the strewn objects around his office. He'd straighten it later. Sighing heavily, he collapsed back into his chair, putting a hand to his forehead. It wasn't just Tonks. There was a whole other life to take into consideration. They needed to find her, and they needed to find her fast.

{SUMMARY} Harry's a little upset at the turn of events this morning.
