Sirens are going off
Draco entered the Manor shouting.

"BLAISE!"

Blaise nearly fell down the last few stairs when he heard Draco shout. "What? What the hell? What is it and why did I nearly break my neck over it?"

"Do you know where Hannah is right now?"

His eyes widened. "I thought she was still at the bakery. Has someone taken her? I told her to always keep someone close by!" Blaise turned right around and headed back up the stairs. He needed a few potions and his charms knives.

"Oh she's with someone, all right," Draco shouted, following him. "The name Ella ringing any bells? Why are your exes asking sweet Han to dinner?"

Blaise stopped mid-stride, Draco nearly running into his back. He didn't know which was worse--Hannah being kidnapped or her having dinner with Ella. "Why the fuck is she with Ella?" he asked slowly. "And why do you know about it?"

"Because Hannah asked me to dress her properly. They were meeting at the Blue Owl. I put her in a pink Chanel suit. She looked fabulous, but you need to find out what this woman is up to... because anyone you dated is not to be trusted. Slept with, sure. Dated? No."

He snorted. "Perfect. This is just perfect. I needed this, really," he mumbled, stomping up to his room. "Because having Ella back wasn't enough, my ex-fiance had to get with my current one. They're probably exchanging wedding plans."

"Excuse me?"

Blaise turned around. "The Blue Owl, you said? I'll go fetch her then. No telling what that harpy's up to. Thank Merlin she's only in the country for a few months at a time. Now I remember why I refused to tour with her. She's just a bloody nuisance."

"Don't you fucking move," Draco snapped. "This Ella is your ex... what?"

He blinked. Oh fuck. I forgot Draco didn't know about her. "You were out of the country when Ella and I got together. Technically I never asked her to marry me. Our whole relationship was just one big assumption. One day we were friends, then a couple, then there was a ring on her finger, that I didn't really put there by the way, and we never denied rumors."

Blaise sighed. "She's my ex-fiance."

"That's sort of a big thing not to tell your best mate, you bastard. I've been back in England for well over a year and a half. Almost two years. You might have mentioned it before now."

"I never expected to see her again, Draco," Blaise said with a sigh. This was going to turn into a fight. He just knew it. "I never expect to see any of my exes but they just show up. We broke up about six months before you showed up. I would have told you, but that was part of the past."

Draco rolled his eyes. "You know if you had told me about her... like you know about my old girlfriends, I might have been better able to warn Hannah."

"I told you that I never expected to see her again. Unlike you, I don't run off to see my old girlfriends. Do you want a list of exes that I might run into or something?"

"That might actually be helpful," Draco replied. "How dangerous is this one? Do I need to have her hexed?"

Blaise didn't know how to explain Ella without going into a lengthy rant. Then he smirked. "She and my mother adored each other. What does that tell you?"

"Bloody fucking hell."

"Blaise?"

Draco looked at Blaise at the sound of Hannah's voice.

"She's alive at least."

They both rushed back down the stairs and Blaise breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Hannah was unscathed. "What the hell happened? What did she do?"

Hannah made a face at Draco. "Tattletale." Then she looked at Blaise as she shrugged out of her jacket. "She apologized and invited us to her show."

Draco snorted.

Blaise blinked. "She what? She invited us to her show?" He looked off to the side as he thought. "Merrick will hate her for a week for doing that. He hates it when she brings in people behind the scenes. Why the bloody hell would she do that? She actually apologized?"

This was blowing his mind.

"Yes," Hannah said, shuffling into the closet and grabbing comfy clothes. "She was very nice. She said she isn't here to cause trouble."

Draco snorted again.

"Draco doesn't even know her and he knows this is trouble. She's up to something, Hannah." He looked down at the passes she showed him. "We're not going to this. It'll be a nightmare."

"I think you should take Sarah," Hannah said.

She came out of the bathroom in sweats and a tank top.

"She loves clothes. You love clothes."

"I love clothes," Draco said.

"We're not going!" Blaise snapped. "Besides, this is during the week. I don't think McGonagall would let me take Sarah out of school so we could go on a fashion spree with my ex!"

He looked down at the passes. Damn, they weren't actually during the week. Maybe she hadn't noticed.

"Can Pansy and I go," Draco asked.

Blaise snorted. "Pansy and Ella can't stand each other. Oh Merlin, Pansy. She's going to die when she hears Ella is back in town. No, Pansy and Ella together are not a good combination. If you really want to go, then I'll take you," he told Draco. "Then you can see what a real vulture she is."

Hannah was thoughtful. Pansy didn't like Ella, so if Ella tried anything, Hannah knew she was not crafty enough to take care of it, but Pansy was. Pansy so was. Hannah just smiled.

Draco made a face. "Why are you smiling like that?"

Blaise turned to Hannah and instantly became worried. "I don't like that face. That's the face you get before you bind me to something."

"I want to believe she isn't up to something, but if Ella is, I'll just sic Pansy on her."

Draco's eyebrows went up.

"That would actually work. And Pansy would love the excuse to finally hex her." Blaise smirked and walked over to Hannah, kissing her on the cheek. "You're turning into a lovely Slytherin."

Hannah playfully slapped Blaise on the arm. "I am always a Hufflepuff."

"Are you two going to get gross now? Because I can leave."

Hannah looked at Draco. "You don't visit enough anymore. You aren't going anywhere. You also look thin. You need to eat something."

Draco grinned.

"Speaking of dinner," Blaise pulled back from Hannah and looked her over. "You didn't actually eat anything while you were there with Ella, did you? If you did, I need to get a bezoar in you right now."

"I had a glass of white wine at the Blue Owl. That was all. If she poisons me, I am going to be very cross. She didn't seem that horrid. She was really very nice. Perhaps she's changed, Blaise."

He just rolled his eyes. "Please. I know Ella. She hasn't changed. She's a good model because she's a good actress. Don't believe her." Blaise looked her over again. "Wine was it? Good. Waiters from the Blue Owl never put anything in the drink, and even then it's a bitch to bribe the cooks to douse food with something."

Hannah's eyes were wide. "I don't even want to know how you know that, do I?"

Draco snickered.

"I'm going to cook you both something." Hannah made for the door. "I think you'll be less suspicious with full bellies."

Draco looked at Blaise after Hannah was gone. "She doesn't really believe that, does she?"

"I hope not. I always like getting food in me before I cause mayhem. An empty stomach is a bitch to deal with. It's an unneeded distraction." Blaise grinned at Draco. "Let's not tell her yet."

Draco snickered. He needed to visit more often.

[Summary]: Draco warns Blaise about Ella's meeting with Hannah. She comes home without a scratch.
