Owls Aplenty  

Kates,

Got a not fun visit last night. My folks are dead gone. I'm okay though. I don't need you to rush over. Am hoping Dean will. But if you're free sometime soon, I could use time out of my flat, we could get together? Do fun things?  Maybe dancing?

Angie,

Mum and Dad are gone. It was a bomb outside their place. I'm sad, but able to function, found out last night. Have been crying all day, and couldn't even stop it. Don't come tonight, I've already put out one call of distress... But when I go to clear out the house... come with me then? I don't think I can do it alone.

I appreciate the offer, but not tonight. You can bring me alcohol another night... Dean's here now. Stuff to talk about, I have lots of. We'll maybe have a girls night after cleaning, yeah? Get drunk and tell each other secrets. I'll probably cry all over you about this. You know what it's like, yeah?

You can cry over me whenever you like, secrets or no. But it would be better with secrets and drunkenness. It sounds like a wonderful evening.
