**This took place Friday night**
Mandy opened the room door and jiggled the key a bit to get it out. Once that was done, she dropped her overnight bag and looked around the extravagantly decorated room with a grimace. It was a bit too...modern for her taste, but it would do for what she had in mind. She'd had a shitty week, but she was hoping the weekend would be better. She didn't know why her first thought had been to owl Cormac, but she had done it and now it was too late to back out, so she had to wait. And hope for the best.
As she waited, she popped the cork on a bottle of wine and poured a glass for herself, gulping the first one down quickly, and then pouring a second.
Wearing a smile on his face, Cormac turned the key in the lock. After his confession to Pansy last night, he was desperate to get her out of his head, and he figured bedding another woman was probably the best way to go about it. He opened the door to see Mandy sitting in one of the overstuffed chairs by the fireplace, a glass of wine in her hand. He removed his jacket and tossed it onto the chaise lounge by the door and walked over to where Mandy was sitting and place a kiss on her cheek. "Good to see you again, love," he said, smiling.
Mandy smiled up at him, accepting the kiss and placing one of her own on his cheek as well. "It's lovely to see you as well. How have you been?" She poured him a glass and handed it to him as he sat. She crossed her legs, smoothing out the skirt she was wearing and taking a small sip of wine.
He eyed Mandy appreciatively, saying, "It's been a long week, but I'm doing much better now, thanks." He took a drink of the wine Mandy had offered him. "How are you? You look beautiful this evening."
A shy smile spread over her face at his words, and soon grew sardonic as she thought of the week she'd had so far. "I've been picked on by my editor all week," she said with a fake pout. "But, I'll find a way to get back at her." She looked at him under her lashes. "My week is getting better and better though. I'm hoping that it's about to get really good." As she spoke, she slipped her jacket off of her shoulders and laid it over the back of the chair revealing a low cut, fitted burgundy sweater.
Chuckling, Cormac said, "Well that sounded like an invitation if I've ever heard one." He stood up, reached out for Mandy's hand, and led her over to the bed where they sat down on the edge. "And yes, I promise you, your week is about to get a lot better."
She laid down on the bed and drew him down next to her, pressing her lips to his, deepening the kiss as she loosened his tie. She drew back to get it over his head, still looped, and smiled impishly, kissing him lightly again.
"Now it's my turn," he said, after she had removed his tie. Reaching for the bottom of her sweater, he pulled it up over her head and tossed it aside. "Have I told you how beautiful you are?" he asked, staring. "Because if I haven't I'm sorry." He bent his head and began nuzzling her neck, his hands roaming over her bare torso.
She sighed and let her head fall back, her dark hair spilling down her back. "Don't worry," she gasped. "I won't hate you forever." Her fingers threaded through his soft, soft hair for a moment before pushing him away and straddling him, going to work on the buttons of his shirt. Once they were all undone, she pushed it off his shoulders and nuzzled the crook of his neck, biting softly into his shoulder.
He moaned as her teeth scraped his shoulder, and flipped her over onto her back. Unzipping her skirt, he slipped it down over her legs and gave her a broad grin when he saw her knickers. "Red is my favorite color," he said as he looped his fingers in them and pulled them off, as well.
She grinned, reaching up to unhook her bra, a lacy affair in a shade of candy apple red that matched her knickers. "Now you. It's not fair that I should be the only one undressed." She reached for the button on his trousers and unsnapped them, pulling at the zipper. She tugged the black fabric down, but stopped, looking up and raising her eyebrows. "Black satin? Nice choice," she said silkily.
"Glad you approve, love, and fair is fair, after all." He pushed his boxers down his legs and looked up at Mandy with a lecherous grin. "There, we're even. Now come here," he said, reaching for her and pulling her down on top of him. He rolled them over so that he was above her and began placing a line of soft kisses from her neck to her breasts, enjoying the way she squirmed with delight underneath him.
She sighed and closed her eyes. This should go a long way to improving my week.

Mandy rolled over and pushed her hair out of her eyes. "That was fantastic," she said, kissing his cheek softly. "We should do this on a regular basis." Her voice was husky from...well...screaming, and she had that wonderful, boneless feeling that came from great sex.
On the hazy edge of sleep, Cormac murmured his agreement and chuckled softly. "That could be arranged."
Her eyes drifted down slowly and she pulled the covers up over them as she snuggled close.
