Another Year Older
Luna looked around her new flat. It wasn't bad, per se. Just... Not where she expected to be now. She had expected to be celebrating her birthday with Harry. Funny how that turned out.

The flat was nice, though. A little quirky, like her. She had her own clock tower, which was interesting. And a sturdy silencing spell around the outside of the flat ensured that her sleep was not disturbed. She particularly liked the garden on the roof, even if the view itself was not spectacular.

Her things had been put away, all except for the few things she was sure she had left at Harry's. Nothing important; the odd shirt or skirt. Maybe an earring. Nothing she couldn't live without.

She looked around the flat again. It was nice. But lonely. Unconsciously her hand went to her purse, where a dose of joyeux waited. Her last one.

She'd gone by the apothecary in Diagon Alley for more of the potion, only to find that it had fallen out of favor in the 80s. The shop keeper had found a few vials hidden away in his store room, but warned that he would not be able to get any more of it in. If she wanted it, she would have to find someone who knew the recipe and could brew it for her.

For once in her life she wished that she were better at potions. Her mind once again flitted through the brewers she knew, which was a very limited number. Hermione could probably make the potion, but the witch was so very busy with so many things. Snape was not even a consideration. The old professor still scared her a bit, she was willing to admit.

That left Blaise Zabini.

Would he do it? Luna thought that he would do anything for a price, but she wasn't exactly rolling in galleons. And she had nothing else of value to offer the Slytherin.

She carefully slipped the vial back into her bag. She'd arrange to see him soon. If nothing else, it wouldn't hurt to ask.

[Summary: Luna has a new apartment.]
