Merry Christmas, love!  I thought I'd send you your present now, rather than fumble with it when I see you this evening.  I'll grant that it's not very original, considering what I do, but I hope you like it.  Your other gift is an IOU for a shopping trip - whenever and wherever you like.  If you're feeling magnanimous, perhaps you'll help me shop for Natalie's birthday.

It doesn't happen very often, but I am almost completely without words.

They're completely wonderful; you've managed to capture their personalities perfectly on canvas.

It's probably the most thoughtful gift I've ever received. I'm grateful and humbled to receive it.

I do think Trace would adore a copy. But let her be jealous about mine for a bit, yeah?

And I'd adore a shopping trip with you. I thought that would be a given. Of course helping pick out something for your girl would be fun as well. I'll be yours for the day.
