Getting a Workout...
"Merlin, Harry, you'd think I'd never had balls fly towards my face before!"

"Oomph!" With a fantastic display of ungraceful lanky arms, Harry landed in the grass, sliding a bit because of the mud that was coating the ground. He looked up at Ginny, who had leaned against the goalpost, laughing. He narrowed his eyes. "That's not fair."
"Oh, is the Auror upset because the girl made him miss the ball?" Ginny walked over and offered Harry a hand up. He looked at her for a second before taking it, using it to get to his feet. Ginny smiled at him. "I was a chaser, Harry. I had bludgers whizzing past my head right and left. A football is not going to scare me."

"Doesn't mean I want to kick a ball at your face, Gin. One, I don't want to hurt you. Two, your mum would kill me."

Ginny laughed, retaking her position in the box, crouching as Harry stood in front of the ball, resting his foot on the top of it. "I'd just tell Mum Ron hit me. It worked when we were younger." She kept her hands out, ready to move in whatever direction he kicked.

Harry kicked the ball forward a bit before rearing his leg back and sending the ball flying through the air at her. She went left, catching the ball before it sailed between the posts and sending it skittering across the wet ground. Harry shook his head. He hadn't been able to land one goal on her.

"Come on, Harry. You have to really mean it. What good is playing if you're not playing to win?"

Harry watched her run towards the ball, kicking it back to him before making her way back to the goal. "Did anyone ever tell you that you're frighteningly competitive?"

Ginny rose an eyebrow at him, flicking her hair out of her eyes. She could feel mud on her forehead, but if he could get dirty, so could she. "I had 6 older brothers, Harry. If I didn't learn how to be competitive, I would have never had any food to eat. They'd have gotten to it all." She crouched again, spreading her legs, balancing on the balls of her feet. "Now, actually try to make it past me this time." She grunted when the ball sailed past her right arm, her body continuing through with the jump and landing in the mud.

She brought her hand down and slapped at the ground, mud spraying up. "That's more LIKE it." She laughed before scrambling to her feet, sloughing the mud off the front of her body. She grabbed the ball and rolled it back to Harry, grinning.

Harry had a smug look on his face. He stopped the ball with his trainer and dribbled the ball back and forth. "Hannah Abbott is moving in with me."

"Over me already? Harry, I'm offended." When he looked up at her with a shocked look on his face, she rolled her eyes. "I haven't heard from her in a while. How is she?"

"She was engaged. Supposed to get married on Friday and walked out."

"You're kidding!" Her foot lashed out, kicking the ball away when Harry half-heartedly kicked it towards her. She chased after it, her eyebrows furrowing. "Who was she supposed to marry?"

"Wayne Hopkins?"

"Really?" Ginny shook her head, kicking the ball back to Harry. She wiped her face on her shoulder, a large glob of mud smudging the Chudley Canons t-shirt Ron had gotten her last Christmas. "Why'd she run out? Was he cheating on her with some slag?" She made her way back to the bars, raising an eyebrow when Harry didn't say anything. "Oh Merlin, he was?"

Harry nodded, rearing back and kicking the ball, the momentum carrying it to the back of the net easily. "Someone sent her pictures of him with someone else. Ernie Macmillan had me go over to her place and check for clues. She came back while I was there. She didn't want to stay at the apartment because he was paying for it. You know I don't do well with distraught girls."

Ginny brushed the mud and grass from her knees, shaking her head as she bent over and grabbed the ball. "No. You're shite with crying girls." She threw the ball back to him, cleaning her hands on her shorts. "But you're sweet to offer her a place to stay."

"Or an idiot." Harry caught the ball, before sending it back at her with a small flick of his ankle. "I haven't lived with anyone since the dorms at Hogwarts."

"Well, just make sure she wears clothes to sleep, and that she remembers that she has a roommate and doesn't go walking out starkers. Luna did that once. Scared the living daylights out of me."

Harry grimaced when the ball Ginny had thrown at him hit him in the side of the face. Now that had been a pretty image. Ginny laughed, shaking her head. "So let's just hope she wears pajamas, yeah?"

"Right. Make sure she wears clothes to sleep. Check." He bent down and picked up the ball, holding it under one arm. "You had enough for the day?"

"I guess I should ask that of you. You feel like you've trained enough?"

"Between you and the stairs at Grimmauld Place? Yeah. I'm good." He nodded his head at her, grinning when she ran to catch up with him. "How's work?"

"Really? It's come to that? You have nothing else good to talk about so you ask me about work?" Ginny grinned, nudging him with her shoulder. "It's fine. I'm meeting with someone on Monday about making potions for the clinic."

"Ah, so it's decided then?"

Ginny nodded. "Basically. Just need to do a little research. Have no idea about premises, but that will all come in time."

"You know if you need any mone-"

"Piss off. I'll be fine." She grinned, nudging him with her shoulder again. "Thanks, though. I'm hoping it doesn't come to that."

Harry nodded. He got the fact that she wanted to do it on her own. Respected it. Didn't mean he wouldn't offer. "Well, I'll tell everyone I meet to use you instead of Mungo's."

"Oh, great, so when I start killing people right and left, they'll all be people you know. Perfect." She grinned, knocking the ball out of his hand and running backwards with it in front of him. "Alright. Time to get clean. Let's shower together to save water." She cackled when Harry tripped on his feet, looking up at her in shock. "Circe, it's almost too easy."
