Mum,

I won't take too much credit for acting like a good son... Ginny came by yesterday and demanded that I owl you, as I've been acting a prat again lately and not kept in touch.

All right if I stop by for a visit this weekend?

I am so glad you owled when you did, dear. I was just about to send your father by the shop on his way home from work to check on you. I worry about you, you know.
