Lavender made sure the belt around her waist was tight. She really didn't want it to fly open before she wanted it too. She may not be shy about sex, but she still didn't want to flash the whole of the Ministry because her coat wasn't tight enough. She had a smirk on her lips as she grinned at the guard who'd asked her what business she had at the Ministry that day. I'm going to find Justin Finch-Fletchley and coax him into a dark room.
Currently, the tag on her badge on the lapel of her coat read: "Lavender Brown. Surprising Justin Finch-Fletchley with something to eat for lunch." Well... it might be true, she thought as she entered the lift. She moved to the back of the car, leaning against the wall, her legs crossed at the ankle in front of her. She grinned at a woman who'd rose an eyebrow at the coat. Lavender knew for a fact that there were people who came to work here with much shorter skirts on. It was possible she was wearing a skirt underneath the violet colored coat.
But she wasn't.
She'd never heard 'afternoon delight' with 'complete set of clothes'. You had to have easy access, and Susan had unintentionally given that to Lavender with one of the birthday gifts she'd sent. The lace rubbed against her skin, but it was a pleasant sensation. She could tell the people who looked at her as they got on the lift car knew something was going on, but she couldn't get the smirk to leave her face.
If Justin ever suspected something like this would happen, then I'll eat a flobberworm. The fact that it was going to be a complete surprise only made her heartbeat speed faster. Call me an exhibitionist.
She exited the lift on floor nine, looking around the corridor. She had no idea where she needed to go. The whole hallway was black. There were no windows like on the higher floors. It was just.... black. Well, fuck.
Lavender ran down the hall a bit when she saw a woman exit a door she hadn't even realized was there. "Excuse me? Is there anyway you could point me in the direction of the Unspeakable's offices?"
Justin was deep in his cubby hole reading a case file when Sullivan stuck his head in, grinning widely.
"You know Lavender Brown?"
Justin looked up sharply. "She's my..." Your what? Exactly? "Yes. I do. Why?"
"She's in the hall asking where the Unspeakables are. She's just had security called on her, I think."
"For fuck's sake," Justin snapped, coming out of his desk and sprinting towards the exit to the main part of the Ministry.
"Adelaide," Justin called to the receptionist. "It's all right. I'll handle this."
Adelaide raised a brow and went back to her task of walking that hall, appearing to be a random passerby. Justin looked at Lavender.
"Hullo. What are you doing?"
Lavender glanced over his shoulder. "Where did you come from? I only saw the one door and I wasn't sure whether or not I could go in." She looked back at Justin with a grin. "I came to see you. You said they let you out for lunch."
Oh wow. "Lavender, you can't just... yes. They let me out for lunch. Where did you want to go?"
Gods, they were all watching. He just knew it. They were all crowded around watching, and Adelaide had not gone as far as Lavender probably thought. He needed to get her out of here. Now.
Justin grabbed her arm. "Come on."
Lavender's eyes widened as he pulled on her arm, taking her away from the corridor to places other. If he's being this pushy right now, imagine what he'd be like if he knew what I was wearing, or not wearing underneath this coat. She grinned as he took her down the hall, turning so many times that there was no way she'd be able to find her way back out. Her heels were clicking on the floor, and she had the thought, yet again, that she should have gone with flats. Well, if you're going to surprise your boyfriend with sex, you can't do it halfway. You go all out.
Justin pulled her into a closet well away from the black hall. He checked around to make sure they were absolutely alone.
"You can't just drop by, you know. Not that I am upset, mind, but I need a bit of warning. What did you think - that you'd just be let into the Department of Mysteries? Lavender... Unspeakables. Because it doesn't get talked about. It's in the name. You are a reporter. Adelaide was getting ready to call security."
"I didn't come here for a story, Justin." She knew very well that people in the Ministry didn't like reporters. She'd tried asking where he was. It's not like she banging on doors, screaming his name. I'll be screaming his name soon, hopefully. "I just wanted to surprise you. Are you telling me I can't do that?" She toyed with the belt around her waist.
She wanted to surprise him.
Justin sighed loudly. "We don't really like surprises. In the Department of Mysteries, surprises tend to equal very bad, but you're here. No harm. I'll take you to lunch. Where did you have in mind?"
Lavender tossed a look around the closet. It was... it would do. "Here is fine." She grinned and took a step closer to him.
Justin's eyebrows furrowed. "What in the hell are you doing? You have food in your pockets or something?"
She stamped a foot and dropped her hands to her sides. The sound of her heel on the floor echoed in the room. "Justin! Gods, are you that dense? Come on! Look at me!" She held her hands out. "How many people do you know show up to lunch wearing a coat this short with heels this high?"
Justin frowned. "Well, I don't know anyone that shows up for lunch. This is the first time anyone's come looking for me for lunch. Are you not hungry then?"
This was not going the way she'd pictured it in her mind. Well, in her mind they'd been in his office on his desk, but she could work with this. Lavender began untying the belt around her waist. "Not for food."
Justin was beginning to think this was not about lunch at all. Her coat was awfully short and the heels were awfully high. What could she had possibly been wearing under that teeny coat? Then he saw. His jaw dropped, and Justin looked around to make certain they were absolutely alone. He didn't want anyone else seeing this.
"You... you went out with nothing much under you coat. What if there had been a stout wind?"
"Then they would have seen this," she said, letting the coat fall around her feet.
"Lavender..." He was pretty much speechless, and she was advancing on him.
Justin backed into the door. He had to go back to work. He couldn't just... could he? Everyone would know. Wouldn't they?
If he thought this was a discussion, he was wrong. "Did you really think I'd be able to go an entire week? No. And, you did say things were stressful. Consider this your de-stressing therapy." She put a hand at the waistband of his trousers. "You know... unless you actually wanted to go somewhere and actually eat. I can just grab my coat-" she took a step back, really hoping he knew that she was only kidding. There was no lunch on the lunchtime agenda today. None at all.
"No. If... come on," Justin grabbed her coat and put it back on her.
He didn't feel safe in the closet. He pulled her back around to the door in the black hall. Justin transfigured a blindfold out of the hankie in his pocket and placed it over her eyes before leading her quickly into his very tiny and very dark office. There was already a silencing charm on it. He locked the door behind him. Justin removed the blindfold.
"This is my office."
Lavender tossed a glance around the office. Well... it was actually a bit smaller than the closet they'd been in. Her eyes darted around the space, as she was pretty sure she might never see it again. For all she knew, he'd move it just so she couldn't surprise him again. As if that'd work. She smiled softly at the picture of him, Hannah and Ernie at what looked like Windermere Lake. She nodded before turning back to look at him. "Nice." Her hands darted out and pulled on the tie he was wearing.
Justin allowed her to pull him towards her.
"Now... where were we? Oh. Right. Just about here."
He untied her coat and pushed it off. Now that he was within his comfort zone and knew what she was after, he could comply properly.
She grinned as it seemed he actually realized why she'd stopped by. "If you're sure... we could go get actual lunch if you-" she was cut off by his mouth silencing her. She grinned against his lips as she pressed as much of her body against his that she could.
Justin grabbed a handful of her hair and tilted her head back. If they were going to do this, it was going to be done properly. She could not wait a week? Well, all right then. He used his wand and put everything off his desk and into neat piles on the floor before sitting her on it and leaning over her. He was kissing behind her ear while his hand was already toying with the lace on her rather revealing nightie thing - that he still could not believe she had worn in public with only that short coat covering it.
Best. Idea. Ever.
Lavender's hands were already working at his belt, though she knew that they didn't need to be off to manage what she wanted. Needed. She sighed as he undid the tie on her top. She could overlook the fact that he'd taken the time to set his things into nice little piles when his lips were doing that to the hollow of her throat. "Mmmm."
Justin pushed her back on his desk, thinking maybe they should move to the chair. Or the floor? The desk couldn't be terribly comfortable. He was too distracted with putting her nipple in his mouth and playing with the edge of her knickers though. His tie had been yanked off and his shirt was being unbuttoned. Well, as best as she could. Must have been difficult to see, and he was thankful she had not yanked it open. He did not know any sewing charms for reattaching buttons.
She really couldn't be held responsible for the noises coming out of her mouth. His teeth were the cause, and she was pretty sure he knew because he kept biting lightly over and over. Once his shirt had been pushed off his shoulders, she pulled at his undershirt, wanting to feel the muscles of his chest under her hands. "Fuck, Justin!" He was already pulling down her knickers, but he couldn't move fast enough in her mind. "Gods, I'm wet."
Not a dry seat in the house. Nice. "Good."
Justin stuffed her knickers into his trouser pocket before she used her heels to shove them down his legs. His boxers quickly followed. When he'd gotten this cubby, he'd never envisioned this on his desk. Perhaps that was his lack of imagination. Justin wrapped her legs around his waist. When he was aware of her real intentions, it had not taken him long to be in the moment as well.
Lavender bit at his neck as he pushed himself into her, the moan against his skin loud in the little room. Her head fell back at the sensation of what she'd wanted actually happening. She looked at him while biting her lower lip, her eyes hooded, her hands gripping his upper arms.
He started slowly. He didn't want to go too fast, he wanted to savor this, but her little moans and noises made that damned near impossible. She was so... loud. Not that Justin minded. Lavender was the most enthusiastic and exciting person he'd ever had sex with. Not that the list was terribly long. She made him a little crazy. He was not as delicate with her as he'd normally be. She clouded his reason though. He was likely going to bruise her tail bone if he didn't slow down.
She wrapped her legs tighter around him as he moved into her, a new sound crossing her lips as he grabbed her upper thigh and pushed it outward, spreading her legs further. "Jusssstin," she hissed, pulling on his hips.
Positively wild and wanton. It seemed the more frantic he became, the more excited she became. She kept hissing his name, and their bodies were now making a very loud wet slap whenever she was not making a sound and it could actually be heard.
"Oh gods, Lav..."
"Don't stop, Gods, please, don't stop." She shouted again when his head dipped down and pulled one of her nipples into his mouth, biting down on it like he'd done before. The pressure at the base of her spine was building, every thrust of his body into hers pushing her closer to her climax. "Close..."
His fingers were biting into her hips. Justin was gritting his teeth not to come just yet. He wanted her first. She said she was close, and last time it had been her orgasm that had urged him into his. He wanted that again. It was difficult though. She felt so good. He was thinking maybe she was right, and they should not go a week. It made it difficult for him to last with her.
She was so close she could taste it on her tongue, taste him on her tongue. Deciding imaginary taste wasn't enough, Lavender moved forward and licked along his neck, the salt in his skin and the fact that she was here with him throwing her over the edge, her body convulsing around him.
Her body pulling at his was really all it took. The neck licking didn't hurt either. He was pretty sure he let out a string of fairly foul swears. Mainly because he was pretty sure his legs wouldn't hold him any longer. Justin didn't want to pin her to the desk. Could not be helped though. He was breathing harshly in her ear, he knew it.
Oh... oh... wow... oh... There weren't really any coherent thoughts. None. Mostly words with lots of vowels. She was breathing heavy, her chest heaving against his. The weight of him on top of her was welcome. She'd always loved that feeling, being helpless, being the reason why they were so spent. She looked on that type of thing with something akin to pride. Why wouldn't she be proud of something like that?
She ran a hand along his arm as she leaned all the way back on the desk, her eyes closed and her cheeks flushed.
Best. Lunch. EVER. Justin moved off of her slowly. She made a sound of protest. He gathered her up to deposit them in the chair. It had to be more comfortable than lying on the hard desk. He'd forgotten his trou and pants were still around his ankles though. He stumbled and Justin sat down rather harshly in the chair with her in his arms. There was bouncing.
Justin grinned sheepishly. "Sorry."
"Mmmhmm." She'd closed her eyes with the movement, her body completely fine in his arms still. Lavender wrapped an arm around his neck and rested her head on his shoulder. "I really hope you're not hungry, because I don't think I can move just yet."
"I have no plans to move as of yet."
He would, however, eventually have to see her out. Justin would just take her home. He didn't want anyone bothering her when she tried to leave.
Justin rubbed a hand absently up and down her bare thigh. When had touching her, being close to her, become so easy?
"This is where you stay most of the time?" She opened her eyes then, as they'd been closed and enjoying the feel of him, and looked around the room a bit more. She reached out and grabbed the picture of him, Hannah and Ernie.
"Not all the time," Justin said, knowing a little box of an office like this would bother most people. "I do paperwork here mostly."
He could not really tell her anything else of use.
She leaned her head back onto his shoulder as she looked at the snap in her hands. She ran a thumb along the edge. All three of them were smiling at the camera. All three of them were happy. "You all look younger here," she said, leaning up to kiss him along his jawline. It wasn't sexual, surprisingly. It was just... companionable.
Lavender would have to ask Hannah if she had another copy of the snap. She'd put it in a frame and put it on her nightstand, in case he stayed over.
"We were. Summer before sixth year. Before Hannah's mother was killed. Before everything went all to hell."
Justin was at a loss as to what to do now. He would need to get dress and take her home soon. It would not be long before there would be a rapping at the chamber door here.
Nodding, she set the framed snap back on the desk before shifting in his arms, making herself more comfortable. "I'm sorry if I made it so you couldn't eat. You don't actually have enough time for lunch now." She smirked against his neck. Nope. I'm lying. I'm not sorry at all.
"Liar," he said, running an hand up her back. "You got what you wanted. You aren't the least bit sorry."
She pulled back and threw him a mock ashamed look. "I know. I'm a bad, bad person. I should be ashamed, taking you away from whatever it is you were doing to satisfy my personal carnal urges. I'll try and resist my obscenely large sexual appetite in the future."
Justin snorted. "You will not. It's terribly flattering that you can not go for more than a few days without seeing me sky-clad. As much as I hate it, I will have to get dressed now and see you out."
Lavender stuck her lower lip out before leaning forward and pressing those lips against his neck. "When's your next night off?"
"Sunday? Maybe? I'm not sure. Things are so irregular around here right now. It's very irritating." Hullo, most of us are OCD. We need our routine. Order is key. Chaos in any form is frowned upon, thank you.
She nodded before extracting herself from his lap, bending down in front of him to grab the lacy top from the ground, smirking at him over her shoulder as she straightened. Lavender grabbed her coat and pulled it on, stuffing the bit of violet fabric in one of the pockets before buttoning the front, making sure no one would be seeing anything Justin had just seen.
After she rose, he pulled up his pants and trou. Justin grabbed his shirt and tie from the floor and put those back on as well. He was fairly certain he had wild sex hair, but that was fine. Justin didn't have a mirror, so he could not be sure. He held out the blindfold to her.
"Sorry. It's the only way you won't be obliviated upon leaving."
"Kinky." She purposefully didn't remind him that her knickers were in his pocket. She didn't mind leaving something for him to remember this by. She closed her eyes, her heartbeat speeding up a bit as he placed the blindfold around eyes. They'd definitely have to keep a blindfold in mind for the future. She'd always enjoyed it when using one before.
Justin leaned in and placed a kiss to her neck before leading her out. Just about everyone and their grandmum's kneazle had their heads out of their cubbys looking with knowing grins. Marbanks mouthed the word "prostitute," so Justin hexed him in the face. When he started howling in pain, Justin hurried Lavender out into the hall. He removed her blindfold and tucked her arm in his as they made their way to the atrium.
Lavender had had a smirk firmly on her face as she'd been led by Justin. The way he'd been rushing her made it seem like people were looking. The howl of pain had been unexpected, though, and she'd have to ask him about that at a later date. It was sad, but she was having a very hard time not sauntering in her heels. She didn't care if everyone knew what they'd just done. Maybe next time he'd be the one popping into her work. Fred had said something about the filing cabinets...
She looked over at him with a smile. "I hope you don't get in trouble or anything because of this."
"Trouble? Likely not. They're probably still reeling in shock at seeing an actual woman down in the caves."
Justin led her to the apparation point and took them to Hogsmeade.
"I know I didn't ask, but I should hope you are not going anywhere save home in that."
She snorted. As they walked down the street, Lavender was still grinning. She waved to Dave, the man who she'd danced with at the Jones Party, as he came out of the post owlery. He waved back after a second of looking with something of a slight frown on his face.
"I have to actually put some clothes on and head back to the shop. Fred gave me some time off, but I'm pushing the limits, I think." She smiled. "Not that he'd mind, probably. He didn't mind me asking for a longer lunch, anyway."
Justin nodded, wondering if Fred Weasley knew why she'd wanted a longer lunch.
He made his way in the back of the bakery, intent on grabbing something before going back to work. Kristen was there rolling out dough. She waved at the both of them. Then she frowned.
"Justin, you dropped your..."
She was already picking them up.
"Purple lacy knickers," Kristen said, holding them with a thumb and a finger.
Justin snatched them from her fingers.
Lavender threw a rather large grin at Kristen, completely unfazed. "Something smells wonderful," she said like nothing had just happened. She turned back to Justin. "Owl me when you can." She leaned in and kissed him, ignoring that Kristen was even there. She pulled back, licking her lips before she darted up the stairs.
"You must be hungry. That looked like multiple conversations to me," Kristen said, barely able to contain her giggles. "Want something to eat? Get your energy back up?"
Justin glared at her. Multiple conversations? She was getting weird.
{SUMMARY} Lavender drops in on Justin at the Department of Mysteries for a nooner.
