Hannah was pacing Blaise's sitting room nervously. She was wringing her hands. She'd worn one of her new dresses, but not a fancy one. Just a little cotton wrap dress that was pink with paisley on it. Nice, but not fancy. Friendly, but definitely not come-hither. She had a little black strapless dress that said that. She'd save that for if she and Blaise ever went anywhere.
"I hope you wore pretty knickers," Draco announced as he entered the room.
"What?"
The next thing Hannah knew things had gone a bit dark. He'd hexed her! Draco Malfoy had hexed her! She was fuzzy, but she could still sort of hear him and knew what was happening. Hannah was frightened. She had no control over her body, and she couldn't see because her eyelids refused to open. She could not call out because her mouth refused to work for her.
Draco scooped her up and carried her into Blaise's bedroom. "Now I do not want you to panic, Abbott. I don't plan to do anything disagreeable to you. I am glad you wore a dress, mostly pink though it is. It will make this much easier for me."
She was a bit like a ragdoll. Draco managed to get her dress off easily.
"Well, well, well," Draco said upon seeing her pink and lacy sheer bra and matching boy-cut knickers. "Very lovely indeed."
Draco removed her shoes and unpinned her hair before putting her in Blaise's bed. He spent several minutes moving her about, trying to decide what position she ought to be in for the finding.
Hannah's heart was about to pound out of her chest. She could not see, but she could feel. He'd taken her dress and her shoes. She had no idea what he was planning, but she didn't like this. She had no control at all. And she was cold. Already. She wished Blaise would come check on her. He'd put a stop to this.
When Draco finally got her situated in what he thought was a very alluring pose, he called for Didly.
"Please inform your master that I hexed Miss Hannah and carried her into his bedroom."
Didly's eyes went wide before he left. Now all Draco had to do was hide.
Blaise's work down in his lab was going very well for being pissed as hell at Draco. It would be right around this time that Draco would be picking up Hannah for their date. He was grumbling to himself when Didly crashed down into his work, making him spill everything.
"Didly!" he shouted, about to rave at the house-elf, when he saw Didly's face. "What--"
"MASTER MALFOY HEXED MISS HANNAH!"
Blaise's eyes widened, and he took off running to his sitting room. She wasn't there, but her things were. Her purse, with her hairbrush sticking out of it and a little pink cardigan. His bedroom door was open and so he rushed inside.
To find Hannah. On his bed. In her knickers.
His eye started to twitch in anger.
"DRACO ORION MALFOY I'M GOING TO FUCKING KILL YOU! WHERE ARE YOU?"
Hannah would have jerked in surprise when she heard Blaise shouting like that, but she could not move. She was relieved that he was there now. She wished he'd undo whatever Draco had done to her though. She didn't like the feeling on vulnerability of lying on Blaise's bed, yes, she could tell it was his bed. She didn't like how exposed she felt and not being able to move. She had tried to move. Hannah could not. She did, however, manage one very quiet and very pathetic little whimpering sound.
Draco was watching from the closet soundlessly. If he had to apparate out suddenly, he would. This was some fabulous drama though. He'd never seen Blaise so upset. Friends? Right. Yes, Blaise Zabini certainly thought of the little blonde as just his friend. Draco could tell she was trying to move, so he carefully flicked his wand, releasing her vocal chords. She made a little whimpering sound.
Draco grinned. Good girl! Pull at those heartstrings! Get him!
Blaise whipped his head around and stared at Hannah. He didn't knock her out, he just froze her limbs. He couldn't begin to think of how frightened and scared she might be. Hexed by Draco Malfoy and then to hear him shouting. He quickly unlocked her limbs and undid the hex on her. He had a blanket ready and wrapped around her shoulders. Blaise then took her face in his hands and stared at her closely.
"He didn't touch you, did he? He just hexed you, right? You're not hurt?"
Hannah gasped when she could move again. He was holding her face in his hands. She batted his arms away and threw herself at him, shaking. She had been more afraid of this than she should have been in her opinion. It prickled something in her mind, but Hannah wasn't going to think of that now. She was just holding tightly and shivering.
"Well, he had to touch me in order to carry me and take my dress off, but no, I'm not hurt. He wasn't trying to hurt me... I hope."
"He wasn't trying to hurt you," Blaise growled. "He was trying to use you to make a point." He held her close and tried to calm her shivering. "Let's get your clothes back on you and then I'll have Didly take you downstairs for some tea, alright? See if we can calm your nerves."
"Wait," Hannah held onto to him, not wanting to move right away. "Just wait a minute. Just give me a minute. I'll be all right. I don't need tea. I'll be all right."
This was reminding her of something, but she didn't know quite what. Hannah shivered again. She could not figure out why this had terrified her so bad. A part of her knew even as the hex hit her that Draco had not been about to hurt her.
"Hannah, you're not alright. Your adrenaline is making your system overload. We need to get you calmed down. I know Draco scared you. Tea will help and I'll be right down after you. Promise."
He tried to move away from her. Hannah just held tighter.
"I'm all right. I am. I'm fine."
He rolled his eyes. "Bloody hell, Han. I can't hex the git when you're attached to my side."
"Will you quit being an arsehole and just hold her," Draco snapped as he stalked out of the closet with his wand drawn. "It's quite obvious to everyone save you that's what she'd like the most right now."
Blaise's wand was in his hand and the hex had crossed his lips even as Draco walked out of the closet.
"You have no idea how much I'm going to hurt you." Blaise smirked and he tightened his hold on Hannah. "Well, I guess I can hex him with you at my side."
"Don't," Hannah said. She did not like violence. "Please don't. Don't hurt him. You might feel guilty about that later. He didn't hurt me. He just scared me. Don't. He couldn't know it would scare me like that. Heck, I don't even know why it scared me like that."
Draco was lying on his back. He didn't feel especially great just now, but he started chuckling anyhow. He'd certainly had worse.
"Why don't you put some clothes on, and then we'll go out into the sitting room, alright. You and me." Blaise started looking around for her clothes. "And I would never feel guilty about causing pain to Draco. Have you forgotten he hexed me this morning and hexed you tonight? Causing Draco's pain is my lot in life."
Draco chuckled some more. "Don't fret, love. I've hurt myself worse than B could ever hurt me."
Hannah did not like the sound of that. She was still shaking as she put her dress back on. This was all a bit too much for her. Hannah was walking out into the sitting room when her legs faltered.
Blaise was walking behind her when she started to stumble. He quickly picked her up and swung her into his arms, carrying her to one of the large sofas. "Didly," he called out. The house elf appeared and nervously wrung its hands. "Fetch some tea for Miss Hannah, please." He sat next to her and put his arm around her since she was still shivering. "I had no idea that something like this would scare you this bad."
"I didn't either," Hannah said rubbing her arms. "I don't know why either. I can't... it feels like I should know, but I just don't. It's not there. I'm sorry I'm so much trouble."
Blaise looked at her strangely. "Is this a feeling of you should know something and then it's right out of reach or you feel you should know but in the back of your mind you don't know what you should be remembering something?"
"I suppose," Hannah said distractedly. "It's just like when I tense when people start shouting. I don't know why I do that. It's odd. I guess I just don't like shouting. I've never really thought about it much. It's just something that happens, and I don't know why. It didn't used to be like that. I don't know exactly when it started up."
Just then Didly was back and setting a rather large mug of tea before Hannah. "Is Miss Hannah being all right? Didly is very worried seeing her in her under the clothes with Master Malfoy."
"I'm fine, Didly. Thank you."
Didly gave a little bow before popping away. Hannah took the mug in both hands. Her hands were still shaking. Blaise moved closer to her. Hannah sipped the tea slowly, relishing him touching her a bit more than she ought to. Hannah set the mug back on the coffee table and snuggled against Blaise's side. He was more calming than the tea was.
Blaise tucked her head under his chin and rubbed his hands up the sides of her arms. He was worried about what she kept talking about... her memory and her being nervous when people shouted. He thought there was more to it than her being a jumpy Hufflepuff. He was going to have a little side project for a bit.
"In a way, I'm glad this happened, because I really didn't want you going on a date with the ferret."
"I didn't either," Hannah snuggled closer. "Why would he do that? All of this, I mean."
"So you could do that," Draco said as he walked painfully through the sitting room. "Good night, kids. Don't do anything I wouldn't do. You hex like a girl, bitch."
Hannah just watched him with wide eyes as he left Blaise's rooms. "There is something very wrong with him."
Blaise snorted. "You don't have to tell me that. I've known him all my life. I grew up with him, and let me tell you; this is not a new development. I'd do the exact same to Weasley except Draco would enjoy it too much and she would come after my blood." He looked down at Hannah. "I'm really sorry he did that. I'm afraid that's... rather a normal thing for him to do."
"It's all right. Truly. Not that I want him doing it again or anything, but like I said, I knew he wasn't going to hurt me. He... wouldn't. Don't ask me how I know that. Plus... he was so... careful with me. Very careful. Like he'd never hurt a woman. I know I sound silly, but I find comfort in that." I find comfort in you.
Hannah closed her eyes and hoped Blaise didn't feel like moving anytime soon.
He sighed and leaned his head back against the sofa. At the moment, he was pondering all the different ways to slowly torture Draco for putting him in this position. Yes, Blaise was being overly-protective of Hannah and he realized he couldn't shield her from everyone, but was there even a little bit of chance that something would work out between them? Could Hannah stand the rumors that would start? Not that he wouldn't hex anyone he heard or even though he heard talking bad about her, but still.
He nudged her. "Falling asleep on me?"
Just falling. "No... I'm just... comfortable. Is that all right? I can... can move if it's not."
She did not want to move. She wanted to stay right where she was. Well, unless he wanted to put more of himself in contact with her body. Then she'd move. But he wouldn't do that. Hannah knew. It was wishful thinking on her part. They were friends. He did not think of her that way.
"No, you're just fine right there."
Oh, she was more than just fine. They fit and he knew it. It would be a long time before they could perfectly mold to each other, but they definitely fit together. Why the hell was he being so noble, anyway? If it were any other girl he would have bedded her and she would be moving on to other men by now. But not Hannah. It was very nearly irritating him. She wanted it; he wanted it. It was just his damn brain telling him to take his time that stood in his way. Although another part of his brain told him that Hannah would definitely tell him to stop after a few kisses, so he didn't have to worry. Did he?
He slammed his head against the back of the sofa. "Bugger."
"What? What's wrong?" She was peering at him with a worried look.
His arm tightened around her slightly.
"Blaise?" she asked in concern. "What is it? Can I help?"
"You like me, don't you? I mean, you like me, for some insane reason."
"Well... yes," she answered, brow furrowing in confusion. "You know that I do. I've told you as much. I'm trying to get over that though, respect your wishes. I am. I promise. It's just... well, you don't make it very easy. You're terribly wonderful."
"And you realize that if we got together so soon after you left the Wayne-ker they would see it as you cheated with me long before the wedding. Could you honestly handle that?"
Hannah frowned. "But I know what's true. We know what's true, so do my friends, and at least one of yours. Who else matters? What do I care what people say? Unless you're worried about it, but you don't strike me as the type to worry about such things. I'm not saying let's take out an ad in the Prophet or anything, but don't let fear of gossip be a reason. Is... is that why? I... I thought there was something... something wrong with me. There's... there's not, is there?"
Blaise laughed. "Something wrong with you? Of course not! And yes, I was worried about your public image, Merlin knows why."
"But you didn't... haven't... I thought... what do I care about public? Wayne was the one who was all out in society. The only reason I cared before was because he cared. That right there should be enough incentive to tarnish me."
"Hey, I won't have you talking like that," he said as he sat up. "It is not your fault he's a bastard without a heart. Seriously. Don't speak like that."
Hannah shrugged. "I was the one who was too dumb to see through him until it was far too late. I'm just a silly little bit of fluff. No one is ever interested in the good girl. I've sort of come to accept that fact."
"For one thing, if we're going to be together, you're going to have to stop cutting yourself down all the time. Seriously. It's almost irritating."
Hannah blinked. If they were what? She had definitely missed something here. "If we're... what? I'm sorry... what? Oh God, I've fallen asleep."
He snickered. "You haven't fallen asleep. I have to admit, the main reason I didn't want there to be anything between us was I was worried what people who think about you and how you would feel. If you're willing to go on a date with Draco Malfoy, well," he laughed. "I think that means you'll do just about anything. I should have asked you instead of doing what I did. So..." This is awkward "I'm sorry."
Hannah's brow was furrowed. "I didn't want to go anywhere with Draco. If you will recall, I never agreed to any of that. He's just so... forceful."
But she was beginning to understand that maybe Blaise didn't just want to be her friend. Oh dear. Hannah smiled shyly though.
"And well you shouldn't. No girl of mine is going anywhere with that git, especially not you. I think he's envious of your knickers."
His? HIS! Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness. Hannah's belly was fluttering nervously. "But... you... you would want us to be friends, yes? And he can't have my knickers. I like them, but I think he can be trusted to hang about us. Shouldn't he be? I don't want you to have to set aside times for me and then for your friends... and are we really having this conversation? Oh my goodness."
Hannah made the mistake of looking at his mouth.
"You couldn't get rid of Draco if you tried, but you will become friends. His stubborn nature will see that through. I saw it this morning... you intrigue him. He'll be hanging about."
One his hands brushed some hair away from her face. "You're not thinking of backing out now, are you?"
"Certainly n-not." His fingertips on her face were very affecting. "I can follow through on the right bloke."
He snickered. "Good. And I have every intention of following through as well."
The hand that had brushed the hair out of her face cupped her cheek as he leaned down and pressed his lips firmly against hers.
It was a good thing she was already sitting down. Hannah's hand somehow pressed against his chest before her fingers curled in, taking his shirt with them. She gave a contented little sigh.
As he pulled back he noticed her eyes were still closed, and she had a death grip on his shirt. Not that he would ever tell Draco, but he was damned glad someone made him realize Hannah wasn't going to run away if a little bad press got out.
"Still think I'm not interested in the good girls?"
"How good will I still be if I say I needed a bit more convincing?"
He gave her this look.
"Don't. I've wanted to kiss you properly since the night we met. And no, we are not counting that thing where I was crying as proper kissing."
He grinned and pulled Hannah up onto his lap fully.
"Well, I have to say I'm very good at convincing."
Blaise leaned down and kissed her nose.
There was a part of Hannah that could not believe this was happening. He kissed her nose, and when she closed her eyes, he kissed her eyelids. Hannah's hand once again found his chest and she wadded up a bit of his shirt in her fingers. She pulled her feet up on the couch and leaned back against the arm around her. He was kissing everywhere except her mouth. Hannah giggled before she darted towards him with her own mouth. She kissed him lightly before pulling at his bottom lip with her teeth. He made it seem like play was all right, so she decided to play a bit.
He knew this was a bad idea. Blaise was going to throw her down and ravish her if she didn't stop.
He almost jumped when she nipped at his nose.
So she wanted to play, did she?
Blaise gripped the back of her head and kissed her deeply, running his tongue along her bottom lip.
He was going to think she was so wanton. Hannah opened her mouth and tentatively sought his tongue with her own. Hannah moaned a bit and gripped his shirt tighter. Her insides were feeling a bit tingly.
Blaise smiled and moved one of his hands down her back and moved his lips away from her own and to her cheek. He moved past her cheek and to her ear, taking it in his teeth and nibbling on it.
"Oh my," Hannah gasped. "If you keep... keep... oh... doing that... I won't... oh my... I won't stop. I'll let you... goodness... do... whatever you want to me. And... and... honestly... I don't... oh... know... oh my... if I am ready to be quite that bold just yet." Hannah sighed in content. "Please don't be mad."
Blaise kissed under her ear and pulled back. "I doubt I could ever be mad at you. Ever. And I know you want to wait, and I'm fine with that. Really, I am. So no worries on this end." He paused and grinned. "Nice dress, by the way."
"This is one of the ones you didn't like because it was pink. Changed your mind then?"
"Changed it when I saw it on you."
Hannah just smiled and felt warm. Then she got a mischievous look on her face. "But you'd like it better on the floor, right?"
He smirked. "Keep talk like that up, and it will be. I just hate that Draco got to see it on you before I did." Blaise frowned then. "Stupid bastard, hexing you like that. Now I just have to get him back somehow."
"Please don't go trussing up Ginny Weasley and leaving her in his bed."
"I told you, she scares me too much and he'd like it too much." Blaise sat there in thought, before a truly wicked smirk came across his face. "I've got it. We'll tell Narcissa what he did."
"Who?"
"Draco's mother."
Hannah made a face. "That's your grand plan? Tell his mum?"
"You obviously don't know Draco's mum."
{SUMMARY} Draco's "date" with Hannah does not go as anyone thought it would. Thankfully Blaise's head has finally removed itself from his buttocks.
The undies:

The dress:

"I hope you wore pretty knickers," Draco announced as he entered the room.
