Sugar and Spice
Hannah was already having the best time. Her cart was mobile, so she was weaving through the village. The warming charm Harry had put on her costume was working very well. Her biscuits were selling like crazy. Hannah was very pleased with herself. Dean's idea of her opening her own bakery was looking good. If she could get the funds together, it would be good for her. It was something to work towards.

Currently, she was heading back to get some more biscuits. They were sitting under a warming charm.

Blaise was pissed that he couldn't have his original costume. He was at least going to be able to scare the piss out of some ickle firstie, but no. Weasley was making him "play nice" tonight. He had just passed a cart full of baked goods that smelled divine, when the person who was pushing said cart caught his eye. He quickly turned around.

"Hannah?"

Hannah spun about at the sound of her name.

"Blaise? Oh my. Hello. Well, don't you look handsome. Not that you don't usually look lovey, but I like it. Very dashing."

He closed the distance between them which was good. Hannah had wanted to rush to him, but she was not to leave her cart unattended. She was not joking though. He was handsome in his Robin Hood costume. It fit rather nicely.

He grinned. "You should have seen me in the one I had on before Weasley changed it. I don't think you would have liked it though." Blaise took a step back and looked up and down. "You, however, look amazing."

Blaise frowned. "You're not wearing enough clothing. Aren't you freezing? And I do not like that everyone gets to all this skin."

Hannah made a face at him. "Harry cast a warming charm on my costume before I left. I'm fine. What were you going to do if I wasn't? Transfigure me a winter coat? You're so fussy. Why, you're the first person to remark on the skin showing. No one else seems to have noticed."

Blaise crossed his arms and kept frowning. "No one else had better notice, because that means they were looking. Although if I did end up hexing someone, Weasley would have more patients and then she'd get off my back about it." He sighed. "I guess if you're warm and don't mind, then it's no big deal. I'll just be ready to hex the eyes out of anyone who looks at anything other than your wings."

Hannah made a face. "You're so silly. Anyone can look all they like, not that they do, but look is all. I'm not that sort of girl. I've settled a bit on you, so you're the one that gets any more than looking."

Hannah grabbed onto her cart.

"Will you walk with me? I need to restock on biscuits and pie after I take a bit of a break."

Blaise nodded and they started walking down the crowded walkway. He made a face when a group of giggling children ran by. He pulled his wand out of his sleeve but Hannah grabbed it.

"No hexing the children. If you're nice until we get to Madam Puddifoot's, you'll get a reward."

"What sort of reward?"

"I guess you'll have to behave and see, won't you?"

He was perfectly civil all the way to the shop. Hannah was quite pleased about it. Then again, they had not encountered much more of the crowd the further towards Madam Puddifoot's they got. Hannah led him back into the kitchen near the ovens. It was quite warm in there with all the magic fires burning. One of her coworkers had just finished loading her cart. She smiled at Hannah and eyed Blaise like he was a side of beef and she had not eaten in a week.

Hannah had her wand out and pointed. This time it was Blaise grabbing her.

"If I can't hex blokes who are eyeing you, then you can't do the same for me. Besides, I'm used to it. I'm not going to act on it though. No worries."

"You weren't going to hex blokes earlier. You were going to hex children."

"They were being annoying."

"They were laughing," Hannah said. She shook her head, smiling. He was so funny about some things. "Did you want anything to eat?"

"Well, their laughing was annoying," he said, pouting mildly. Blaise crossed his arms and looked around the many foods and his mouth started watering. "I'll take anything. Really. I'm not picky at all when it comes to food."

Hannah raised a brow. "Then I hope you know how to exercise because I am going to make you try one of everything. Not today, but over time. I think I'll start with this."

She wagged a chocolate eclair at him.

He grinned. "I'm not above begging, you know. Especially with you looking absolutely delicious in that outfit with chocolate all around you. Mmmm, what a lovely picture it is."

Hannah made another face at him. It seemed that all she did was make faces at him.

"No one said anything about begging," Hannah stepped close to him. "Here. Eat this then."

He did that thing that he had a habit of doing that made her heart speed up. He held her wrist to take a bite of the sweet she was offering. Hannah kept her smile very carefully on her face.

Blaise just had to moan, it was that good. It was the definition of sinfully good.

"Merlin, Hannah, I'm going to make you move in just so you can use the kitchen, and I can be right there when your things come out of the oven. This is amazing. I'm not going to let you come back to work. You should just bake for me."

It was wrong that the most simple things he did affected her so utterly. She knew he didn't mean it, but her entire body jumped at the idea that he would want her around always - even just to bake for him. She could see him every day. He'd probably get tired of her that much quicker. The idea made her sad.

"I have to come back to work. I have to save up some money. I have to be a real person again."

As he took another bite of the eclair, he huffed at her. After chewing, he swallowed, keeping a grip on her wrist. "We've had this discussion. A job does not define you at all. Yes, your job at this bakery shows part of your personality and a hobby of yours, but if you didn't have a job the world wouldn't stop revolving. And you know you have many people who would help support you in whatever you needed. Hell, Narcissa Malfoy would adopt you if you'd ask."

Hannah cocked her head to the side. "But what if I want to do this myself? No, the world might not stop, but I might. I did before, and I won't go back to that. Not ever. So you'll just have to accept the fact that your girlfriend likes to get down in it."

Blaise sighed and hugged her. "Stop being so dreary. Tonight is supposed to be fun. It was for me earlier, so it'll be fun for you. Come on, let's see how many blokes will look at you so I can hex them."

She made a face at him. It seemed that was all she ever did at him and Draco since meeting the both of them was make faces.

"I would prefer your not hexing anyone if you please. Draco explained to me about possessive behavior and Slytherins, but no one else gets to lay I hand on me. Funny thing? I stopped trying to get anyone to do so long ago... until I met you. Isn't that odd? Wayne didn't like to touch me."

Hannah sighed loudly.

"Enough of that though. Let's go have a bit of fun before I have to sell more things."

He grinned. "Sounds wonderful. Shall we go out and see what mischief we can get up to?"

They weaved through the crowds, Blaise either holding Hannah's hand or putting his arm over her shoulder. He had just pointed out a group of adults trying untangle their costumes that apparently attached in some way when a flash of skin made him quickly glance over.

"Oh no he didn't."

"Who didn't what?"

Hannah looked in the direction Blaise was looking.

"Oh my goodness! He's... he's... well he might as well not have worn anything at all. You don't suppose there was an accident, do you?"

"An accident that banished his clothes?"

"It's possible."

Then the mostly-nude Draco Malfoy spotted them and with a friendly wave, started his way towards him. People were staring. Hell, Hannah was staring. She couldn't help it. He was very white. What got her attention as he neared them though was not the fig leaves hanging magically around his privates, but the twisted mess that was his Dark Mark. The skin was all distorted and pinched. Scarred. Hannah had to wonder what had done that to him.

"Do we need to nip over to Gladrags and get you some trousers, Draco?" Hannah asked pleasantly. "I can't imagine your costume is terribly warm. We wouldn't want things to be shrunk due to the cold, would we?"

Draco snorted with laughter.

"And who the fuck are you supposed to be? And did you cast a heating charm or something? It's a miracle you're not frozen solid." Blaise just shook his head.

"You know I'm cold-blooded," Draco joked. "I'm Adam."

Hannah giggled. "Where's Eve?"

Draco seemed pleased he didn't have to explain to her.

"She's parading around in the sexiest witch costume I've ever laid eyes on."

"Told her you're not gay yet?"

"Not as of yet."

"Have you even spoken to her, " Hannah asked.

"No." Draco looked sheepish.

"So you've just been skulking about and watching her from the shadows like a mostly-naked stalker."

"That sounds about right."

"I don't understand why you're practically in your birthday suit, nor do I want to. But you mean to say Weasley hasn't seen you like this? You should go see her at the kissing booth we set up and maybe give her a peck. I'm sure she'd be so shocked at your costume you could slip her the tongue," Blaise snickered until Hannah pinched him in the ribs. He made a face at her and rubbed the spot. "And has your mother even seen you? I know she was going to come because Maria was going to be here, but I can't imagine she's too pleased with you at the moment."

"My mother's here," Draco said, feeling nauseated. Not because of his nakedness, well near-nakedness, but because he had not put anything over his Mark. He was not ready for Narcissa Malfoy to see what he'd done to himself. He didn't know if he ever would be.

"We can go get you some trousers," Hannah offered.

Draco waved his hand. "Appreciated, Sunshine, but if she's here, she's probably already seen it. No use hiding now. I'm done with that course of action anyhow."

Blaise slowly smirked. "You still haven't told her what happened in Romania, have you? That's what you're worried about. You little pisser; she is going to murder you!"

"Romania?"

Draco glared at Blaise when Hannah asked that. Because he SO wanted to discuss this now. "Yes, I so want to have this conversation right now. Yes, Romania. I got drunk and tried to cut my Dark Mark out of my arm with a broken bottle."

Hannah gasped. Her eyes watered a little and her hand went to her heart. How dreadful. She was not getting drunk ever again if it could make you do something like that.

"Draco..." Hannah whispered, concern all over her face.

Draco rolled his eyes and looked at Blaise. "Can you make her not do that?"

Blaise raised an eyebrow. "You started it, you finish it, bitch. She's a Huffle, Draco. If you tell her you pulled wings off of a fly she's likely to turn on the waterworks."

Hannah swatted Blaise on the arm. "He's your best friend. Do you see? Do you see what he did when no one was watching him? How can it not affect you?"

Draco was looking at Blaise with wide eyes. Was she for real? He had care by association here?

"Hannah, it doesn't hurt anymore. It was a long time ago, and Blaise doesn't have feelings for anyone but you. It's fine."

Blaise glared at Draco before turning to Hannah. "This will be hard for you to understand, but we're Slytherins, Hannah. Yes, we're friends, but I am no one's babysitter. If it did affect me, that's between Draco and myself, and we'll deal with it." He glanced up at Draco again. "Besides, it's not like he told anyone where he was going or when. He just left. He's an adult, and responsible for his own actions."

"No, Sunshine, he's absolutely right. I'm not good at the telling. Look, I don't want to spoil your fun. I'm just going to be a stalker. You kids don't do anything I wouldn't do."

He sauntered off.

Hannah stared after him. "Something's wrong with him."

"I thought we already established this."

"No, Blaise, like really wrong, I think. Like emotionally wrong. Don't laugh, but I'm worried about him."

If there would have been a brick wall nearby, he would have slammed his head into it.

"You are not making him a project of yours. You're just not, Hannah. There are layers to him that you will never be able to peel back, so don't even start trying. Alright? Now, when do you need to go back to start selling your goodies, again? I don't want to get you into trouble or anything."

Hannah made a face at Blaise. She couldn't say it aloud. Not yet, but did he not think she had noticed how much Draco meant to him? It was very apparent. Ensuring nothing happened to Draco ensured nothing harmed Blaise. Thankfully she didn't feel like she needed to follow orders any longer. He didn't have to know she was planning on helping Draco.

"Probably pretty soon. But let's walk a bit more. I like just being with you. We really must find a secluded place so that I might get some snogging in before I have to get back to work though."

He laughed in surprise and started pulling her along. "You haven't seen Healing Hands yet, have you? You need to see my office. I'll show you my lab. Doesn't that sound fun?"

"Certainly. Lead the way."

He pulled her through the crowds until they came to the storefront. Blaise grinned at her as he opened the door. "Welcome to Healing Hands. This is the lobby," he said as he pulled her through. "Exam rooms on either side. There's Weasley office," he said motioning to the door across from his before opening his own. "And this is my lab. Nice, isn't it?"

Before she could say a word he closed the door and lifted her up onto one of the counters. "Secluded enough for you?"

"A bit. Yes." Hannah swung her legs a bit. "What do we do now?"

Blaise lifted a brow a her.

"Well... I mean... OBVIOUSLY, but who starts? It there a start? Do we announce a start?" Hannah made a face. "Am I ruining the mood?"

He was trying so hard not to laugh at her. She was so innocent in her pink faerie wings and her face was just priceless. He loved the faces she made. "You're being... adorable, I think is the word I'd use. Don't worry about talking just now, or anything else. Just close your eyes, and feel."

Blaise waited until she closed her eyes and leaned forward, put his hand on her neck and moving it up to cradle her head. He gently touched his lips to hers.

Oh my goodness. Was her skin going to jump like this every time he touched her? So not in a bad way, but my goodness. Hannah scooted a little closer to him and caressed at the seam of his lips until he opened his mouth. Then it got a bit interesting.

He licked her bottom lip quickly before biting it and pulling it slightly. When she gasped, he kissed her again, and her tongue tentatively touched his. As Blaise deepened the kiss, his other hand not on her neck moved to her waist and he rubbed his fingers along the skin bared there.

"Oh my," Hannah breathed. "You do that rather well. We're going to have to schedule some actual making out later, I do believe. You know, when I don't have to go back out a sell biscuits and pie."

He snickered. "See, now that? Reminding me you have somewhere else to be? That's a mood killer. But I know I can get you alone some other time." Blaise put his hands on her waist to help her off the counter, and leaned down to kiss her neck as he did.

Hannah made a whimpering sound. "I don't want to leave here, but I probably should."

She wrapped her arms around his waist and rested her head on his chest. Then her hands strayed down a bit.

"Are you wearing tights?"

Blaise sighed. "Not my choice. I had on a different costume, and Weasley thought it would scare the kiddies, so she transfigured this instead. I don't like it. I look like an utter ponce. And the tights itch."

"I think they're nice. Maybe you can model just the tights for me sometime," Hannah said playfully before grabbing a pinch of them off of his thigh and letting them snap back.

He huffed and stepped back. "I am never putting these torture devices from hell on again. Ever. Not even for you. Ask Draco, he'd be much more open about it, I bet." Blaise winced. "She could have least put on a charm that would prevent them from riding up, the damn witch."

"Did you want me yo do that for you? I think I could manage it, and I'll be sure to ask Draco about modeling the next time I see him."

Hannah rubbed a hand up his thigh over the tights.

"They do feel a bit itchy."

Then she hit his hip, forgetting about them being ticklish.

He lurched away, his back hitting a counter. Blaise glared at her and arched an eyebrow. "Very funny."

"It wasn't meant to be funny. I didn't mean to touch your hip. Honestly. And... and... are you not wearing any pants under those tights?"

Blaise made a face. "Well, I wasn't wearing any under my other costume because the trou on that were tight as well, so no, I'm not. The jacket covers it enough to be decent though." He rolled his eyes. "Honestly, I just wish I could have my other costume."

After opening the door to the hallway, he sighed. "Let's get you back to your business then. We can't deprive the world of their biscuits, can we?"

"Well, no... um, can you... er... lift up your tunic so I can see?" Then she blushed.

Blaise stopped and slowly turned to face Hannah. "Mind repeating that for me?"

"I want to see your tights in the front, if you don't mind," Hannah said, straightening her spine.

He grinned and turned to face her, putting his hands on his hips. "Well, now I feel like a Scotsman or something, being asked to lift his kilt. Hannah Abbott, how positively scandalous of you!" Blaise smirked at her. "You know, I'm half tempted to tell you if you want it, come and get it."

Hannah raised a brow. Did he think she wouldn't? She was Blaise Zabini's girlfriend. She wasn't afraid of things anymore. Not really. Not mostly. She stepped forward and reached for the front of the tunic.

Blaise laughed and stepped forward, taking her face in his hands and kissing her quickly. "Alright, I may be cruel, but not that cruel." He let go of her face and stepped back, lifting the edge of the beige tunic up.

Hannah raised an eyebrow and tilted her head to the side. Well. That was... it was... well she'd never seen anything quite like it. It was begging for study. She didn't think they had time for that though, and she certainly didn't think he'd want to do anything like that in his lab. Then again, he'd done things like that in dressing rooms. It was just that the tights were snug, very snug, and she did not have to imagine much here. Not much at all.

"I think I like the tights," Hannah said, not looking at his face. "Yes, I do believe I am becoming a fan of the tights."

He snickered, gestured out to the hallway and waited for Hannah to walk out the door before he followed her. After locking up the lab again, they walked back out onto Hogsmeade street. He took Hannah's hand and started leading her back to the bakery. While they were walking, he leaned down to whisper in her ear. "I'm not going to wear the tights again, but I may look into investing in a fig leaf like Draco's."

Hannah just smiled. She liked that idea. A lot.
