I just want your extra time and your...
Ginny wasn't sure when her cheeks stopped burning with embarrassment. It was either after the eightieth kiss or the thirteenth catcall. She wasn't sure. The only thing she was sure of was that the more drunk people got, the more donations she received in her little jar. There was a nice pile of coins in the thing, and with the expanding charm on it, she wouldn't be able to know exactly how much was in there without dumping it out and counting.

She smiled at the next man in line. "Hullo."

"Do you treat... everyone?"

Her eyebrows furrowed. "Yes."

"Goblins? Hags? Giants?"

"Well, I must admit I hadn't thought about giants. I'd need to charm the door to get bigger for them, I suppose. But I won't be turning anyone away, if that's what you're asking."

He nodded, bending over the table. Ginny turned her head to the side, closing her eyes. She could smell the alcohol on the man's breath, and his lips were chapped and rough when they were pressed against her cheek. When he pulled away, he smiled. Dropping a few coins into the jar, he turned and left.

Ginny watched him walk away. She'd gotten a lot of questions, mostly about cost and procedures. The man who wanted to know how to heal a gangrenous toe had been her favorite though. She sighed, looking at the next person in line.

Mac was watching the line go. The healer was a brave one, she'd give her that. Mac sure wouldn't be kissing all these blokes. Some of them were a bit nasty. It would have been nice if they'd let her have a punching booth. Now that she could have gone for.

"Poor lass," Brody said, sighing as he came to stand next to her in line.

"Who's minding the bar?"

"New bloke is. Tis fine. What are ya doin' here?"

"Makin' a donation."

"Gonna get a kiss then?"

"Wasna plannin' on it. I wanted to ask her a question."

They moved up closer to the front.

"But iffen ya like I can kiss her, I suppose."

"Yer Gryffindor thing is beginnin' to worry me."

Mac snorted.

When they reached the front of the line, Mac tossed her coins into the jar.

"M'brother, the great pervert, wants to watch me kiss ya apparently."

That got catcalls and attention and all sorts of things. Mac sent a glare to the crowd.

Ginny's eyes widened. "Oh." She sent Brody a puzzled look. "Alright." Ginny stood from her seat and placed both hands flat on the table. She leaned forward a bit. "You're Mac, right? Harry told me about you." She grinned at Mac in a knowing way.

"I dinna say I wanted-"

Mac slapped a hand over her brother's mouth, cutting him off.

"Harry talked to ya. Interestin'." Mac didn't know how she felt about that. She guessed it would depend on what Harry had said.

"Get on with it!" someone shouted.

Mac turned and glared in that direction. Mrs. Dearborn had told her and Brody to please try to refrain from fighting tonight. Didn't mean she couldn't glare.

When Mac turned back to look at her, Ginny grinned. "All good things. He said if I ever needed security that I should run down to the Sticks and find you." She rolled her eyes when the crowd seemed to move in a little closer. Anticipating. Vultures, the lot of them.

Mac grinned. "He's probably just tryin' to get us friendly so I willna make him go dress shoppin' wit me again."

Ginny laughed, the image of Harry surrounded by taffeta and lace almost too much. "Oh, that's brilliant. Really." She pushed one of her pig tails over her shoulder and grinned a little savagely at the girl. "So, I'm thinking that if we do this right I might be able to benefit from it." Her eyes darted to the crowd before settling back on Mac. "You game?"

"Always," Mac said, matching the grin on Ginny Weasley's face.

Mac leaned across the table towards the other woman. You could have heard a pin drop. Brody had his eyes closed already. Mac would have laughed, but that might have ruined the mood they were trying to set here.

Ginny had been able to avoid kisses on the lips from the men, even when they'd offered her a little extra money. This though? This she didn't mind. Yes, she didn't know Mac and no, she wasn't sure if it was a good idea, but by the way the men surrounding them were looking, she as thinking it might be worth it.

She closed her eyes and moved forward a bit more, puckering her lips.

Mac grinned wickedly, tossed her hair off her shoulder and leaned forward herself. She placed a hand on the back of Ginny's neck before placing her lips on Ginny's.

Seriously, no one was moving. Someone even started talking back in the line and Mac heard them be shushed.

Ginny had only kissed one other girl in her entire life, and that had been on a dare in the girls dormitory. And there hadn't been eighty or ninety sets of eyes focused on them when they'd done it. She knew she looked like she was just frozen there for a moment, and she inwardly rolled her eyes before reaching up and placing a soft hand on Mac's cheek. She heard someone to her right take a sudden intake of breath. Honestly, they're all just randy bastards.

Mac inwardly rolled her eyes. You'd think this lot had never seen two girls kiss before. Honestly.

She pulled back licking her lips. They hadn't really done much, but she wasn't going to try something like that with someone who was the new village healer. Brody had his hands over his eyes.

"We're done, ya wee babe. Ya can uncover yer eyes now."

"I'll put in two galleons if you two do that again!" someone shouted.

Mac raised a brow at Ginny.

"Pass 'em up then, brother," Mac called. "But this is it, ya kin. This lass has others wantin' a turn, aye."

"I'm goin' back to the pub," Brody said, sounding very moody indeed.

"Ya dinna want a kiss, Bro?"

"I think she likes ya better, Mac," her brother said with a wink.

Mac rolled her eyes. When she heard the galleons hit the jar, she leaned in towards Ginny again. An observer let out a very enthusiastic yell at this time.

Laughing, Ginny shrugged. "Why not?" She leaned over the table, placing a hand on Mac's hip before pressing her lips against Mac's. She smiled a bit when she heard a few shouts. She wasn't sure, but she thought she heard even more people surround her booth.

When Mac heard and sort of caught the unmistakable flash of a camera, she knew it was time to go. She pulled back slightly and whispered in Ginny's ear.

"I hope I help ya some."

Then she placed a polite kiss on Ginny's cheek before moving away utterly. There were disappointed grumbles. This time, Mac actually did roll her eyes.

"I'm beginnin' to think they'd be content to just watch us go at one another all night," she said dryly. "Stop into Broomsticks iffen you're thirsty. On the house, aye."

Ginny smiled. "I might take you up on that." She laughed, sitting back down at the table. "Harry's going to be sorry he missed this."

Mac snorted. "Or relieved. Apparently I'm no' to talk bout m'naked bits wit anyone else around him... even though he's... well. I dinna know what m'kissin' another would do to him. He's funny tha' way."

Mac gave a slight bow. "Evenin', lass."

Ginny watched her disappear through the crowd. She turned back to the line, grinning when it had doubled in length. Excellent.
