GREGORY VALERIUS GOYLE!
I TOLD YOU NOT TO HURT HIM. I TOLD YOU NOT TO DO ANYTHING. YOU ARE DAMN LUCKY HE KNOWS HIS CHARMS. IF HE HAD COME DOWN TO BREAKFAST WITH MORE THAN JUST A SMIDGE OF BRUISE SHOWING YOU WOULD HAVE HAD A LIVID WITCH AT YOUR FLAT HEXING YOUR BOLLOCKS OFF.
YOU BLOODY WELL SHOULD HAVE LISTENED. DO YOU REALIZE WHAT YOU COULD HAVE DONE?
I EXPECT PRESENTS. LOTS OF THEM.
Hannah,
I'm terribly sorry for the delay in replying to your owl. Things have been fairly hectic on my end these past few days what with Halloween and all. I would never have ignored a reply otherwise.
Now, about my first owl. One thing you should know about me is that there is hardly a thing I love more than irking my best friend, not only because he loves it but because he would expect nothing less from me. Draco is right. We have our own way of showing affection for one another, and seeing as he is calling you 'Sunshine' it means that he has at least partially accepted you as one of us. It used to be that if Draco did something like that then the rest of us would as well, eventually anyway. (You don't even want to know what he calls me... the cheeky bastard!)
I'm sure Draco has already taken care of the threatening for all of us if you hurt our friend, so you and I can meet under much happier circumstances with no threats and much less worry. I was hoping to catch you last night, but
I was thinking of getting together on Monday, If you haven't any other plans. We could go out or stay in, whichever is more comfortable for you. I don't currently have a project underway, so we really only have to work around your schedule.
Cheers,
Tracey
Blaise,
Sorry I didn't make it to the clinic last night. Greg was a giant prat and I just wanted to go home. Though it sounds like I missed something important. What do you think a bloody peacock eating the Dark Mark means? The Dark Lord can't be back... he'd never choose something as tacky as a purple peacock.
Anyway, I fired a house-elf yesterday morning. It was Baxter, the one with the 'THING' for Didly. Do you mind if I send him over to the Manor? I feel terrible for giving him clothes but I can't very well take it back now. He's still sitting in the kitchens crying. Why do I feel like a horrible person? He called my MOTHER about Theodore... yeah, I need to keep reminding myself of that.
Love, Trace
PS. I'll be by the clinic soon. I want to meet Weasley too... and since I'm thinking a trip to Madam Puddifoot's is long over due. I'll have to come up to Hogsmeade soon - don't you think?
Dearest Pansy,
I'm sorry for leaving so abruptly on Tuesday. I managed to get things sorted with River that day. Thank you for understanding.
You looked lovely last night. I hope you had fun with Cormac. Were you around later? Did you see the mark in the sky last night? It's all over The Prophet. What do you think it means?
Owl me about shopping. I don't think Theo and I have any plans this weekend - other than a brief stop off at Blaise's new clinic. There might be a night of pedicures and girl talk - but that's only if I can drag B from his day job. He does look so good in pink nail polish.
Love, Trace
